Doctor Elizabeth Weir was a diplomat and first civilian commander of Stargate Command. In 2004, she became the first responsible of the Atlantis expedition team. In 2007, she was MIA after saving the First Atlantis recon team from the Asuran. She appeared again in 2008 (using FRAN's appearance), then soon sacrificed herself and was frozen in orbit space.
